Plant full trees along the road way to block the road and the brutal buildings from view of the residential buildings and homes across the road (along Plesmanlaan and Jan Luykenlaan). Green the area along the road side! It beautifies the area, provides more oxygen to help counter the busy road, and may help as a sound barrier.
As well, add a pedestrian walkway. At the moment there is a bike path and road, but no safe, separate place for walkers.
